Rossland invites you to come out and discover all the mountains have to offer.
The Rossland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of RossFest – Rossland’s Celebration of Mountain Culture, August 25- September 2, 2007. RossFest is an event that celebrates the mountain lifestyle- recreation, culture, history, cuisine, art, and people. The event will provide opportunities for local people and visitors to participate in the activities that make life in Rossland, B.C. so desirable.
Some of the events to expect:
- The Rubberhead- cross country mountain bike race
- Redstone Golf Tournament
- Old Glory Glacier, Roberts Mountain, and Kootenay-Columbia Mountain Hikes
- Seven Summits Treasure Hunt
- Festival Beer Gardens
- 7 Summits Trail Race
- Bands, parties, and dances
- Kids activities
RossFest will also be incorporating many of the activities of Golden City Days. RossFest organizers have been working closely with last years Golden City Days organizers to ensure a smooth transition.
